We take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and this privacy policy.

1.1 Scope of the processing of personal data

We collect and use our users' personal data only insofar as this is necessary to provide the website, our content and services. Personal data is only processed with the user's consent or on a legal basis.

The processing of your personal data is based on the following legal bases:

  • Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR - Protection of legitimate interests, e.g. to analyze the use of our website.
2.1 Server log files

The hosting provider of our website automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are

Legal basis: Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in ensuring trouble-free operation).

2.2 Use of cookies

Our website uses cookies. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device. They are used to make our website more user-friendly, effective and secure.

Types of cookies:

  • Essential cookies: Necessary to ensure basic functions of the website.
  • Statistics and analysis cookies: For the analysis of user behavior. These cookies are only set with your consent.

Further information on the use of cookies can be found in our Cookie policy.

2.3 Contact form

If you contact us via a contact form, the data you enter (name, e-mail address, message) will only be used to process your request.

Legal basis: Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR (contract fulfillment/pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR (consent).

2.4 independent analytics

This website uses Independent Analytics, a privacy-friendly web analysis tool. In contrast to conventional analysis services such as Google Analytics, Independent Analytics does not process any personal data and does not store any IP addresses.

The analysis takes place directly on our server without passing on data to third parties or transferring it to external servers. This means that your data remains completely anonymous and GDPR-compliant. No cookies are set, so your privacy is protected at all times.

Legal basis: Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in analyzing website usage to improve our offer).

2.5 External content

Our website may integrate content from third-party providers (e.g. maps from Google Maps, YouTube videos, external APIs). When you access this content, personal data (e.g. your IP address) may be transmitted to the respective providers. We would like to point out that we have no influence on data processing by these third-party providers.

Legal basis: Your consent pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR.

2.6 User accounts (PRO version)

When you create a user account for the PRO version, we process the data you provide (name, e-mail address, address, password) for the purpose of providing and managing your account. This data is required to give you access to the PRO functions.

Legal basis: Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR (fulfillment of contract).

We store your account data until you delete your account or we remove it due to inactivity. Legal retention periods remain unaffected.

2.7 Payment processing

If you purchase paid subscriptions or lifetime access, personal data (e.g. name, payment amount, transaction ID) will be transmitted to the respective payment service provider for payment processing, depending on the payment method selected (PayPal, bank transfer, WooCommerce Payments).

Legal basis: Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR (contract fulfillment) and Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR (legal storage obligations).

We ourselves do not store complete payment information such as credit card details, but only the information required for accounting and invoicing (billing address, payment status). We store this data for up to 10 years due to commercial and tax law requirements.

2.8 Contract management and communication

We use your e-mail address to inform you about important contract changes, renewals or invoices.

Legal basis: Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR (contract fulfillment) and, if applicable, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in customer communication).
